Speak Up!

There are many ways to get involved in advocacy for your library. By contacting your own legislators, you can make your voice heard. You can also encourage friends, family, coworkers and patrons to get involved, as well. Learn about the issues facing libraries and their patrons, then get in touch with your legislators and let them know what is important to you. Then inform others and encourage them to take action, too.

CLA is using the Engage interface through ALA to mobilize action for Connecticut libraries. At the site, you can enter your address or zip code to target your local reps, as well as the governor. Click on the blue "Take Action" button to begin.
