The CLA Legislative Committee is hosting a series of Regional Town Hall Meetings with special guest, new Connecticut State Librarian, Deborah Schander.  Staff in all positions from throughout the library field, library board members and trustees, and friends of libraries are invited to attend. Region 4 will meet virtually on March 23rd from 2-4 via Zoom.  

This interactive question and answer style meeting will allow participants to share their thoughts with Ms. Schander on current issues facing Connecticut libraries, discuss priorities for services from the State Library, suggest actions CLA and the State Library can take, and discuss the future of library service in Connecticut.

There is no charge to attend this virtual meeting but registration is required by Monday, March 22nd at noon to participate.  The Zoom link will be sent to registered participants the morning of the event.
