CLA Virtual Conference Wrap-up and Survey:

Thank you to all those that attended this year’s first-ever CLA Virtual Conference.  We had a wonderful turnout for the 36 regular and exhibitor sessions with nearly 900 attendees. This would not have been possible without our incredible presenters who were able to turn their original presentations into ones that worked well in a virtual environment. We also want to take this time to thank our CLA sections and committees for proposing these sessions.  Finally, we want to give a huge thank you to the conference committee: Co-chairs Chris Carney and Stephanie Prato, whom without their hard work over the past year none of this would have been able to happen so quickly in a time of pandemic, President Lisa Karim and President-Elect Tom Piezzo for their constant and ongoing support throughout this process, our friends at CLC, Jen Keohane and Tracy Monterville who assisted with registration, accounting and questions, , and to our publicity and marketing chair, Leah Farrell.

Exhibitors and Sponsor Resources/Offerings:

We would like to give a special thanks to our conference sponsors and exhibitors as well.  For those that were not able to make it to the conference or any of the exhibitor showcase sessions, many of our vendors have sent free resources, webinars, and promotional codes for our CLA Membership.  Please find that all below.

CLA GoFundMe Campaign Information:

As many of you know, the annual conference is a large part of where our yearly revenue comes from and with the in-person April conference having to be cancelled, we are not at a comfortable financial point.  We ran this virtual conference as a membership drive making it free to our members and as a fundraiser where we were able to raise funds from non-member registration, sponsorships and our exhibitor showcase.  Though we were able to make back some of the money we would have collected from April’s conference, we want to remind you all to spread the word on your personal social media, to friends and family about our public GoFUNDme campaign that is going on right now.
